I was listening to Buzz Out Loud or the 404 whichever it was it came from CNET podcasts. I heard about this new wine called USB at first I thought it was a joke later after I Googled it sure enough it took me to Gizmodo and I began reading about this wine it just grabbed my attention. This is the perfect wine for Geeks and Wine Lovers like myself.
The story behind this wine is very interesting from what I have been told from previous blog articles and employees of Peltier Station. Well if you didn’t know you can’t call your wine a Port wine unless it comes from Portugal which is the same for Champagne and France. So what Peltier did was they used their creative mind and came up with USB Port with out expecting that this would make a huge impact in the Web and technology society. So now they have people calling them asking for this wine that don’t even like wine, they are just fascinated with the name.
Unfortunately I was unable to order this wine because they will not ship to Chicago, but I do have contacts in California that will hopefully purchase the bottle and mail it out to me, I have my fingers crossed. I will patiently be waiting for my bottle in a week or so and I will write a review on this bottle. I hope this wine will taste just as good as the bottle and marketing concept.
