So I finished updating my iTunes to version 8 and guess what there is a small issue. if you can tell from image to right iTunes is jacked up to all hell. Apple has come out with a lot of nice quality hardware and software but I think they’re slacking. Either that or it is a conspiracy. Mac wants everyone to switch to Mac OS X because Apple software works half ass on Windows based machines. If I could find a way to download and upload podcasts to my iPod via Linux I would switch tomorrow. So far the closest thing I found was Floola.
Diggs Kevin Rose’s new rumor about the iPod Nano:
- Revamp of entire iPod line.
- Small cosmetic changes to Touch, Nano to see significant redesign (see pic below).
- iPods to see fairly large price drops to distance itself from the $199 iPhone.
- iPod touch 2.1 software, iPhone to get update very soon after.
- iTunes 8.0 (“it’s a big update w/new features”).
- All of this coming in the next 2-3 weeks.
Floola is a freeware application to efficiently manage your iPod or your Motorola mobile phone (any model supporting iTunes). It’s a standalone application that can be run directly from your iPod and needs no installation under Linux, Mac OS X and Windows (Windows Vista is supported).
Floola supports all common used iPod features including photos, artwork, podcasts and smart playlists!
It automatically converts any incompatible audio or video file so that you can copy almost any file to it. It even allows adding youtube and myspace videos with a single click!
Take a look at the feature list to find out what it can do and feel free to suggest anything that might be missing.
